From 19 May 2021, hotels and restaurants are expected to reopen with the following rules:
(updated May 18, 2021)
Upon entering the country, from May 19, 2021, there is no quarantine obligation from many countries, the existence of the certificate in English or German detailed below and online registration is required. Online registration: https://entry.ptc.gv.at/
We are happy to help you, but we ask for your understanding and patience, because in the current situation, we cannot always update the current rules immediately. We therefore recommend that you always review the entry and exit rules of your country for Austria and the conditions for staying and using services in Austria on an official portal.
Austria's official tourist website, the Österreich Werbung website, where you can find constantly updated information in German: https://www.austria.info/de/service-und-fakten/coronavirus-situation-in-oesterreich/einreise-nach-oesterreich, in English: https://www.austria.info/en/service-and-facts/coronavirus-information
Guests can enter and stay in the hotel and restaurant who have already been vaccinated, recovered from the disease or have a negative test and have an official certificate about it in English or German. This does not apply to children under 10 years of age.
Valid tests (with certificate in English or German):
• Negative PCR test (72 hours)
• Negative antigen test performed at a test station or pharmacy (48 hours)
• NEW: Antigen tests for personal use (digital), recorded in an official data processing system (24 hours) - not yet available at the hotel
• NEW: On-site antigen self-tests also allow entry. However, this test only entitles you to access that service unit and is valid for 24 hours. This test must be performed by guests in the presence of a hotel employee - already available at the hotel
• School test is acceptable for children (in Austria children are tested several times a week)
Once the tests have the acceptance time given above, so if someone arrives for a longer stay, they are required to present a new test result at the hotel reception before the tests expire.
In Austria, testing is free, without Austrian social number, but subject to registration: https://steiermark.oesterreich-testet.at/#/registration/start
The address of the hotel must be entered for the address (Wohnaddress). After registration, you will receive an automatic e-mail, which you can click to fill in the date of birth and then select the place and time to test.
Nearest test station: Teststation Murau: Brauerei Murau, Raffaltplatz 19, 8850 Murau, open Monday to Saturday: 08:00 to 18:00. Special opening hours from 15 May to 10 July 2021: 8:00 to 20:00 on Fridays and 8:00 to 12:00 on Sundays!
Testbus St. Georgen am Kreischberg: 50 meters from the hotel, in front of the Kreischberghalle, every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 08:00 to 11:00.
The vaccination certificate in English or German or the vaccination card must be presented at the reception (valid no earlier than 22 days after the first vaccination).
In Austria, we can currently only accept vaccines that are recognized by the European Union. The vaccination certificate format in English can be downloaded here, it is filled in by the vaccinating doctor or vaccination point.
Recovered from the disease:
Official certificate of recovery from COVID19 disease or a positive result of an antibody test, not older than 6 months, in German or English.
Due to Austrian regulations, guests must wear an FFP2 mask in hotel public areas, such as:
2 METERS DISTANCE
It is important to protect ourselves and others to keep a distance of at least 2 meters from each other, and the hotel staff strives to do the same.
Our hotel also pays special attention to the observance of hygiene regulations and recommendations. We have placed hand sanitizers in several places on the hotel premises and our hotel staff is regularly tested.
Special times require special measures! Thank you for your understanding!
